NSW Lotteries Help Claiming Prizes

How do I collect my winnings if I am a registered player?

I have won a prize, how do I collect my winnings?

I have won a major prize on an Instant Scratchie Ticket (over $1,000). How do I claim this prize?

I have some old Scratchie tickets that have won small prizes. How can I claim these?

The tickets can be submitted to any NSW Lotteries Agency for checking or you can send them to our Claims & Payments Section at PO BOX 6687 Silverwater NSW Australia 2128 to have payment processed. We suggest you retain a copy of any information submitted to us.

Will NSW Lotteries alert me personally if I have won a prize?

NSW Lotteries will only contact players registered with the NSW Lotteries Players Club registration service. All correspondence will be in writing. If you receive an email claiming to be from NSW Lotteries about a major prize win it is a scam - see the scam lottery item in the General section of the FAQ's. For more information regarding claiming prizes click here.

If I win a major prize, is it tax-free?

There is no tax payable on any prizes paid by NSW Lotteries.

How can I avoid the Postage and Administration fee?

This fee only applies to registered minor prizes ($1000 and under) for Lotto, Lotto Strike, Saturday Lotto, Powerball, OZ Lotto and 6 from 38 Pools. Simply check and collect your cash at any of the 1600 NSW Lotteries agencies across the state. The fee is only charged to customers who choose not to claim their prizes personally.

What is Players 1st?
