Mystery wins at Coffs Harbour and Hurstville score $444,444 each

Saturday Lotto’s $4 million division one prize was shared by nine winning entries nationally, including two NSW winning entries worth $444,444.45 each.

The NSW winning entries were sold in the mid-north coastal city of Coffs Harbour and the Sydney suburb of Hurstville.

Both NSW winning entries were not purchased using a NSW Lotteries Players Club card, and so NSW Lotteries officials do not have the contact details for the winners. They may be completely unaware of their lucky windfall.

Coffs Harbour

A mystery Lotto player who purchased their Saturday Lotto entry from The Palms Newsagency at Shop 22, The Palms Centre, High Street, Coffs Harbour won $444,444.45.

The Palms Newsagency proprietor, Ross McMaster, is keen to make sure as many people as possible in NSW hear that his shop sold a first division win in Saturday Lotto.

“We have a strong local customer base, but being in a popular tourist area there’s no way of knowing if the winner is a local or a holiday-maker. All we can do is make sure as many people as possible hear about the win and check their tickets so that we find the winner, wherever they may be.

“We had a great run of big wins a couple years ago but then it went quiet for a while, so we are really exited to be back selling big prizes,” Mr McMaster said.

Hurstville

Hurstville’s mystery $444,444 winner purchased their winning Saturday Lotto entry from Viva Newsagency at Shops 120-122, Westfield Shoppingtown, Hurstville.

“Considering the winner is not a member of Players Club we will be encouraging everyone we see to bring their Saturday Lotto tickets in for checking. I hope we find our mystery winner soon. I bet they will be delighted when they find out they’ve won Lotto,” Damian Susantio from Viva Newsagency said.

Along with the two NSW winning entries, one winning entry was sold each in Western Australia, Queensland and South Australia and four winning entries were sold by the Victorian based lottery operator Tattersall’s.

The winning numbers from Saturday night’s $4 million Lotto draw were 25, 8, 27, 23, 42 and 11, with the supplementary numbers 20 and 33.
