Long weekend of Lotto winners for NSW

The Labour Day long weekend brought lots of luck to Lotto players in NSW.

The luck began on Saturday night when two NSW players won a $1 million share each in Saturday Lotto’s $4 million first division prize pool, with tickets purchased in the Sydney suburb of Asquith and in Ulladulla on the South Coast.

The good luck continued on Monday when an entry purchased from the Sydney suburb of Castle Hill took out the entire $3 million first division prize in Monday Lotto.

Saturday Lotto

Four winners nationally shared Saturday Lotto’s $4 million prize pool, two of the winning entries were sold by the Victorian based lottery operator Tatttersall’s, one entry was sold from the Northern Sydney suburb of Asquith and another from the NSW South Coast town of Ulladulla

A mystery winner purchased their $1 million winning Saturday Lotto entry from Asquith Newsagency at 377 Pacific Highway, Asquith.

“It is just wonderful to have sold another winning ticket from the shop, I am so happy for the winner, it is a lot of money,” Gina Chen, owner of Asquith Newsagency said this morning.

The South Coast winner, who is a member of the NSW Lotteries Players Club, wishes to remain anonymous, purchased the $1 million winning entry from Ulladulla Newsagency at 15 Wason Street, Ulladulla.

The winning numbers from Saturday Lotto were 32, 3, 18, 42, 39 and 16 with the supplementary numbers 19 and 40.

Monday Lotto

A mystery player, who purchased their winning ticket in NSW took out the entire $3 million first division prize in last night’s Monday Lotto draw.

The winning entry was sold by Castle Mall Newsagency at Shop 122, Castle Mall, Terminus Street, Castle Hill.

As the winner is not a member of the NSW Lotteries Players Club, NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the winner to confirm their new multi-millionaire status.
“As we have no contact details for the winner, we are strongly advising all Lotto players in the Castle Hill area to carefully check their Monday Lotto tickets. Some lucky player will find that it is worth $3 million,” Communications Manager John Vineburg said this morning.

The winning numbers in Monday Lotto’s draw were 17, 36, 42, 11, 21 and 26 with the supplementary numbers 8 and 37.

By using a Players Club Card to protect their entries, players can ensure they will be alerted to major prize wins, and automatically paid any unclaimed smaller prizes.
