Casula Lotto player shares in $1 million Wednesday Lotto prize
A lucky customer who purchased their Wednesday Lotto ticket from the Lucky Corporation Newsagency at Shop 8, Corner of Hume Highway and De Meyrick Avenue, Casula, won a $333,333.34 share in last night’s $1 million Wednesday Lotto prize.
Although Casula’s latest Lotto winner is a member of the NSW Lotteries Players Club, NSW Lotteries officials have been unable to contact the winner by telephone. A letter informing them of their windfall will be sent in the mail.
“I have been telling everyone to check their Lotto tickets because we sold a first division prize. We are really happy to have sold another big prize,” Duc Nam Truong, proprietor of the Lucky Corporation Newsagency said.
“The winner may not even know about their good fortune yet, I’m sure they will get a wonderful surprise when they learn they’ve won Lotto,” Mr Truong added.
Along with Casula’s winning entry, a winning entry was sold in Western Australia and another in South Australia. Each winner picks up a $333,333.34 share of the $1 million prize pool.
The winning numbers from Wednesday night’s $1 million Lotto draw were 24, 38, 17, 44, 32, and 3, with the supplementary numbers 23 and 12.
This week marks the 30th anniversary of Lotto. Since the first draw on 5 November 1979, Lotto has made more than 950 NSW residents millionaires.
