Burwood Lotto player scores $1 million in Monday Lotto
A single winning entry purchased in the Sydney suburb of Burwood won the entire $1 million division one prize in Monday Lotto.
Although the winner is a member of Players Club, NSW Lotteries officials have been unable to contact them by telephone. A letter informing them of their millionaire status will be mailed.
The winning ticket was purchased from Burwood Newsagency at Shop 7, 127 Burwood Road, Burwood.
Burwood Newsagency manger, Ingrid Siauw said that they were incredibly excited to have finally made their first millionaire.
“This is just the news we have been waiting for, we have decorated the shop with balloons and signs, we want everyone to know that we have made one of our customers a millionaire.
“If I could talk to the winner I’d congratulate them and wish them the best for life as a millionaire,” Ms Siauw said.
The winning numbers from Monday night’s $1 million Lotto draw were 33, 44, 39, 38, 18 and 8 with the supplementary numbers 45 and 3.
