Illawarra Lotto player scores $148,148.15 in time for Christmas
One lucky Saturday Lotto player who purchased their ticket from the Illawarra town of Figtree will have many reasons to enjoy the festive season this week after scoring a $148,148.15 share in Saturday Lotto’s $4 million prize.
As the winner is not a member of the NSW Lotteries Players Club, NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the lucky winner.
“It is a pity that the winner is not a member of Players Club, it would have been lovely to deliver news of a Lotto win this close to Christmas. All we can do is put the word out there that anyone who purchased a Saturday Lotto ticket in Figtree should be checking it very carefully,” said NSW Lotteries Communications Manager John Vineburg.
The winning entry was purchased from Figtree Newsagency at Shop 29, Westfield Shopping Town, Figtree.
There were 27 winners of Saturday Lotto’s $4 million division one prize. Along with the winning NSW entry, 13 winning entries were sold by the Victorian based lottery operator Tatttersall’s; seven winning entries were sold in Queensland and three each in Western Australia and South Australia.
The winning numbers from Saturday night’s $4 million Lotto draw were 2, 7, 9, 3, 5 and 23 with the supplementary numbers 26 and 41.
Tickets are now on sale for Saturday Lotto’s $30 million New Year Superdraw on 2 January.
