Saturday Lotto win of $666,666 adds to Marrickville’s tally
Marrickville West Newsagency at 246 Wardell Road Marrickville has sold a first division Lotto prize of $666,666 in last Saturday’s Lotto draw (Saturday 26 December).
The winner did not register their ticket with NSW Lotteries Players Club, but fortunately they have since checked their entry and claimed the $666,666 Lotto prize.
Sanh Nguyen, the owner of Marrickville West Newsagency, said that he and his wife had previously sold half a dozen big wins.
“The biggest prize we’ve sold was $3 million in OZ Lotto, and we’ve also sold two prizes in Saturday Lotto over $1 million.
“We’ve been very lucky in the eight years that we’ve had the shop. In one year we sold three first prizes.
“It’s definitely an attraction for players to buy from us because they are hoping some of the good luck will rub off on them,” Mr Nguyen said.
There were six winners sharing the $4 million dollar first division prize pool in Saturday Lotto. Four winning entries were sold by the Victorian based lottery operator Tattersall’s and one was sold in Western Australia.
The winning numbers were 9, 28, 42, 6, 24, and 11 with the supplementary numbers 37 and 36.
